4. Are the courses current?
   

   KING courses are up-to date with the latest information and subjects areas the FAA wants you to know. KING Interactive Video Ground School and Test Prep courses contain FAA-style questions which are representative of all the subject areas the FAA tests.

   Warning: You can’t just memorize test questions and expect to pass your FAA Flight Instructor and FOI Written Test. Why? The FAA used to make their test question banks publicly available; however, they have not done so for many years. In fact, the FAA has recently gone through their entire database and changed every single test question and answer in order to eliminate test question memorization. No one, including test prep educators, has access to the FAA question banks. To be a safe and competent pilot-in-command, and to pass your required tests, there is no shortcut. You must acquire the necessary pilot knowledge.

   Online Course Media - Your online course is always up-to-date as the course is automatically updated whenever changes occur.

5. What do I study first?
   

   We recommend that you first start studying your Flight Instructor and FOI Video Ground School & Test Prep Course.

   As you begin your flight training lessons, you will want to review the pilot skills courses and books included in your kit as they will tie into your practical flying lessons.

   Once you have passed the FAA Flight Instructor and FOI Knowledge Test, it's time to start your Flight Instructor and FOI Practical Test Course so you will ace your FAA Flight Instructor and FOI Practical Test. Some lessons will be more challenging than others. The advantage of having a home study course is you can repeat any lesson over and over again and you can review any course material at any time. You can always call or send us feedback about concepts or questions for further clarification.

6. How much time will it take to complete the course?
   • The Flight Instructor and FOI Ground School & Test Prep Course contains approximately 14.5 hours of video lessons.
   • The Flight Instructor Practical Test Course contains approximately 6.5 hours of video.
   • Each pilot skills course vary in running time from 34 minutes to 134 minutes. On average, each course is approximately an hour.
   
   

   King Schools courses are self-paced so completion time will vary from person to person. Some folks spend a full week to complete the course and others will take longer depending upon how much time they have allocated for their studies. If you have 10-15 minutes of time, you can complete a course lesson.

10. Where do I take my FAA Knowledge test?
    

    Check the FAA.gov website at http://www.faa.gov/training_testing/testing/media/test_centers.pdf to schedule your test at a testing location near you.

11. How do I find a FAA Medical Examiner to schedule my physical?
    

    Check the FAA.gov website at http://www.faa.gov/pilots/amelocator/ to find an examiner. You need pass your physical before you can solo.

12. How do I get my WINGS credit for taking the course?
