When studying for my private I remember being talked into a cross county flight that I new was not a good ideal which 20 minutes in I new I was in over my ability I did get back and decided it would be the last time I let anyone tlak me into when I should fly.

This was a very interesting account of an early flight with an unknown aircraft. It's fascinating the different problems that occurred during the flight that many could have been avoided before the trouble showed up. Not only was the aircraft a surprise in its operation, but the weather was a challenge as well. This video showed the different things that need to be considered before attempting any flight- no matter how short. It was a riveting account but I would never want to even come close to experiencing this.

It's an incredibly humble to listen with awe at two people you greatly respect for the dedication to their life's work and know that,they too,made amateur mistakes on their journey to becoming world class professional pilots.I want to replay this over and over so that I too may learn from their mistakes that,thankfully,they survived!

Although I am not a pilot, I am hoping to become one soon. I like the Cessna 310 R, but you make a good point of not purchasing a “dog”. At any rate, I will focus on getting my pilot license first and then the right plane for me as new pilot.
