Good information but will require multiple viewings of select chapters before I fully "get it."

Agreed to be a safety pilot and discovered the aircraft had this type older GPS unit. The crew at King were really helpful in getting me pointed to this course as a intro to the box. The course also includes some old basics of GPS approaches that is helpful in understanding how we got to where we are today.

This is a worthy review of a very capable GPS, even though it's over 20 years old.  Not all of us have an opportunity to fly glass cockpits and a lot of trainer aircraft in the fleet still use the Bendix/King KLN series GPSs and will for years to come.

NIce review of the essential functions of the King KLN89B.  Thanks for illustrating its use on a real flight and for the tips on in flight updates to the flight plan.

Great overview for all GPS navigation

A VFR pilot, I'm mostly interested in learning to use the KLN89B in VFR now. Much of this course is dedicated to IFR work, which will be of more value later, but the basic information has helped me to absorb the columns of information provided in the Pilots Manual. Well worth the money.
