I went through this portion of the course as a student pilot with only a few takeoffs and no self landings (done all or mostly by flight instructor).  The tips and tricks presented here were easy to follow and were presented in a way that makes sense.

These videos made clear what my flight instructor has been telling me.

I loved it. I sure wish I had seen this before I first flew they did a wonderful job of explaining and showing how it is done. Can't wait to learn more.

This course taught me that you can accomplish short and soft field (although not specifically called out as such) but controlling power - stick to the power setting!  Thanks John and Martha.

Great explanation of common challenges in landings/takeoffs.  I now have a better idea of what I should be looking for during my landings, especially in the flare.
